"We hired Funyak Landscapes, L.P. as part of a pool project we were doing. Funyak Landscapes brought the whole project together. Their work truly made the whole project pop. Jawn and his team were the most professional of all the contractors we dealt with. They were on-site almost daily for the three months that it took to complete the project and were a pleasure to deal with. Funyak kept the project moving forward. We had Funyak build a pavilion, walls for a hot tub, and piers for a water feature as part of the overall project. They also added paving accents, planting beds, lighting and did a complete repair of the lawn including the sprinkler system. Everything was priced out down to the tree and stone. No surprises. Jawn always took time to meet with us as needed and responded promptly if there were any questions.

When I changed my mind a couple times, they accommodated me. Their work is far superior than any I’ve seen. "After living in our home for a few years, we finally decided to finish our backyard. We knew we wanted to add a paver patio with some sort of fire feature along with a covered pavilion. We met with several local landscaping companies to discuss our ideas. We instantly felt comfortable with Jawn from Funyak Landscaping. He was extremely personable and spent a lot of time with us and really listened to all our ideas and thoughts. He was able to offer suggestions to help complement our proposed plan and even provided some ways to save money. He quickly followed up with a proposal and a number of different options to help work within our budget. His attention to detail, knowledge of products and pricing, as well as great communication led us very quickly to decide to move forward with Funyak Landscaping and we’re so glad we did. As we did not want to start our project until later in the spring we had a lot of time to discuss options further and revise our project plans to really fine tune exactly what we wanted. Jawn was always excited about new ideas we had and options we wanted to include and was consistently quick to respond. We eventually finalized our plans and were provided with 3D drawings of our project and a very detailed scope of everything that would be provided including exactly how it would be installed. This really helped us visualize the final layout and added to our excitement to get the project started. A start date was decided upon and from day one until project completion their crew was on site everyday, rain or shine. I can’t say enough good things about their crew, especially our project manager. They were extremely hardworking, often here for 10-12 hours a day. They were very professional, always on time, and cleaned up the work area at the end of each day. We never had to worry if they would be here or if it would be the same crew throughout the project. We really enjoyed seeing the progression at the end of each day, which was always impressive. The materials used and processes utilized were all top quality and it showed. During the project we had more than a few change requests and questions, to which Josh and Jawn responded to not only promptly but were also helpful in communicating the best cost effective options. The project was somewhat difficult and definitely had a few non-traditional elements but Funyak was able to pull through on all accounts and still finish on time. We are extremely happy with how the project turned out including the process, which could have been very stressful, but was instead made easy by Jawn and his team. We look forward to many years of enjoying our fantastic outdoor landscape with friends and family. I have used Funyak landscaping and lawn care since their first year in business. Joe and Jawn Funyak are the epitome of a well run family community business. They show up when they say they will, they do excellent work, and they are very conscientious to not disturb existing plants and trees. I had a retaining wall fall over in mid-December, partially blocking one garage door. I called Joe, his crew showed up the week before Christmas, tore down the existing wall, and erected enough of the new wall to keep the dirt behind from sliding over the driveway. Winter weather kept them from finishing all of it, and they returned when the weather broke in the spring to finish it. They did an excellent job as always! I would refer Funyak Landscapes with the highest recommendations. They are honest, hardworking and dependable...rare traits these days!

We had Funyak help us design and build a large addition to our landscape--pavers, stone pillars, plantings, etc. We had approached Jawn (Funyak) with a fledgling idea for a particularly large feature of our landscape and asked him if he could make it a reality. Even though this aspect of the project was different than work he's done in the past, he didn't shy away and was enthused to make it happen. He was exceedingly helpful and patient throughout--even well before it was obvious we were going to move forward with him. He never pressured us to make decisions. There were really no surprises to any aspect of the work. It was nicely laid out in their quotes, complete with a visual layout. We must have spoken with Jawn and Joe (his brother) dozens of times in person, phone calls, texts, and emails. Honestly, if they give other customers half the attention that we got, they must go crazy just keeping up with all the correspondence. We weren't dealing with administrative assistants, mind you; we were in regular contact with the *owners* of the company. That's saying something. They are very involved in the operations. In the end, we got top-notch work done that is only going to appear more beautiful as the landscaping matures. The work that his crew did is excellent, and they were personable, professional, and willing to answer questions. We would unreservedly recommend the Funyak team, and we plan to have them back to do more.

We have used Funyak Landscapes for over a decade and have had nothing but an excellent experience. They have done everything from landscaping, tree removal, retaining walls, and a huge patio. Our most recent estimate was for a drainage system for our backyard. Our patio was done in 2005 and shows no sign of wear. We used Funyak because they are a local company and have a reputation of honesty and quality. I have recommended them to dozens of people and I don't know of anyone who was disappointed when dealing with Funyak's.
